RIVERSIDE, IL — A 55-year-old Riverside woman has been reported as missing for more than two weeks, last seen leaving her house and believed to be on her way to see her out-of-state son. Lisa Ann Vais was driving a bluish gray 2015 Mazda CX5 SUV, with a license plate number of 1742048, according to a Riverside police news release. She was last seen leaving her house in the 10 block of Kimbark Road earlier this month and was reported to be going to visit her son, who lives in Tuscaloosa, Ala., police said. She has not arrived in Tuscaloosa yet and is considered to be at risk of "extreme emotional distress," the news release said. She was reported missing Sunday. Vais is described as white, age 55, 145 pounds, 5-foot-2, and having blond hair and hazel eyes. Her phone last pinged as of 2 a.m. Sunday in Murphy, N.C. , but at this point, her phone has been turned off or the battery has died as it has stopped pinging, police said. Riverside police said they have notified police departments in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Murphy, N.C.
