2004 F150 stuck in park

I have a (2004 F150 6cylinder) that I can’t get out of park and into gear. It is regular shift lever at steering wheel. I think it’s a sensor inside the dash but right now I’m just seeing if anyone knows how to bypass without damage to anything. I just need to move truck. Anyone run into this problem?
