NORRISTOWN, PA — A popular local running club is getting ready for another season of group runs, with social distancing precautions in place. The Norristown Run Club will begin its fifth year of hosting the free, public events this spring. The runs are open to all ages and ability levels. Courses range from three to four miles most days, and include loops of Norristown Farm Park and the Betzwood area. Each week is a new course. Starting on April 7, the group will meet on Saturdays at 9 a.m. and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. "Our goal continues to be about motivating, encouraging and supporting runners of all abilities," group founder Ryan Graham says. "It's so awesome that we've made it this far." The group is cognizant of COVID-19 and has precautions put in place. Runners must be six feet apart, and face coverings are strongly recommended. All runners should have a mask with them, and bring their own water.
