MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — As Montgomery County continues to work its way through the 1A category, tens of thousands of people remain waiting in line for their turn to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The county is currently in the process of reaching out to individuals who scheduled appointments on Jan. 14. There were 19,501 people who registered on that day. Some 137,000 people are registered and waiting to be scheduled. It could still take several weeks from the time you register until you are contacted by the county about setting up a specific date, although the state has promised to have all 1A individuals scheduled by March 31. To see roughly where you stand in line, you can reference the date you registered with the county's numbers showing daily registrations every day since mid-January.
