David Johnson Chorus 30+ member's heart and passion to share their music is defined as "magical". On Saturday, May 15th, 2021, at 7 p.m., Magnolia Manor and Chapel will open its chapel at 1424 E. Main Street in Humboldt, Tenn., for a Final Farewell Tour by The David Johnson Chorus. Founded in 1998, The David Johnson Chorus is an auditioned community chorus comprised of members from throughout northwest Tennessee and western Kentucky. The Chorus has been featured in Southern Living magazine and honored with special resolution by the Tennessee House of Representatives. They perform regularly at the Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina and was awarded three silver diplomas at the World Choir Games in 2012. Magnolia Manor has hosted the David Johnson Chorus , a few times and it is one of the highlights of the season and we knew, we wanted The David Johnson Chorus to make a stop at Magnolia Manor and Chapel on it's final Spring Concert Tour. Currently, the chorus is hard at work, preparing a wonderful concert that will be unlike any they’ve done before. It is a celebration of everything that makes The David Johnson Chorus so special!
