WOODBURY, MN — The city of Woodbury ranked 15th in Niche's 2021 "Best Suburb to Live In" Minnesota rankings. Woodbury ranked behind Eden Prairie, Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, Edina, Shoreview, Shorewood, Chanhassen, Plymouth, Mendota Heights, Minnetonka, Eagan, St. Louis Park, Arden Hills, and Depphaven. The rankings were determined by using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, CDC and other agencies, combined with reviews from people that live in the area. The rankings consider a variety of topics including affordability, local housing market, neighborhood diversity, local public schools and walkability, to name a few. Woodbury earned a high rating for its public schools, as well as its ranking for families, and housing— all of which earned an A-, A, or A+ ranking. Woodbury's ratings for weather, crime and safety, and cost of living were the suburb's lowest at C+, B-, and B-. Christopher Boan from Patch contributed to this article.
