DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A car was reported stolen from a hotel in Downers Grove overnight, according to a recent police report. The incident took place March 10 at the Extended Stay hotel located at 3150 Finley Rd. When police got to the scene, a man told them he had been staying at the hotel while he was in town for work and had parked his 2019 Toyota Highlander in the hotel's north lot around 6 p.m. When he went out the next morning at around 10:49 a.m., he noticed the car had been stolen. The man told police the car had been locked and the only extra key was in Arizona with his wife. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Downers Grove Police Department at 630-434-5600.
