Job Description Installer Job Description SUMMARY ✓ As part of an installation team, responsibilities include installing doors, closets, and hardware. ✓ Receiving product in warehouse and checking for accuracy as well as prepping for installation ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ✓ Precision install doors, closets, and hardware in residential homes. ✓ Carry finished, painted doors in and out of residential homes without damage. ✓ Install handles, closet tracks, molding, & casing. ✓ Install pre-hung units with casing within 1 hour. ✓ Organize, clean & stock trucks. ✓ Receive and check orders for accuracy and stage for installation. ✓ Takes pride and ownership in every door you handle and install. ✓ Repair doors needing warranty adjustment work. ✓ Interact and answer questions with homeowner in professional manner. ✓ Check order paperwork to avoid mistakes. COMPENSATION ✓ Hourly pay ✓ Paid vacation/sick ✓ Paid holidays SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES ✓ Mange time honestly and efficiently. QUALIFICATIONS ✓ To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ✓ The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE ✓ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent. ✓ One-year experience in related door or construction industry. REASONING ABILITY ✓ Ability to problem solve and install doors to meet and exceed ONE DAY customers’ expectations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES ✓ A driver’s license is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS ✓ The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The lifting of solid core doors exceeding 75 lbs is required. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
