Celebrate Women's History Month at Elmwood Cemetery hearing stories of Women of Achievement, 2 pm to 4 pm Sunday March 21. Women of Achievement Greet Spring at Elmwood In celebration of Women’s History Month and in honor of the many women on whose shoulders we stand, Women of Achievement invite you to drop by historic Elmwood Cemetery on Sunday, March 21, 2:00 - 4:00 pm. We will have hosts to welcome you at graveside and tell the stories of Women of Achievement honorees such as Lide Smith Meriwether, Roberta Church, Lena Angeline Warner, Maxine Smith and others. Come anytime after 2:00 pm to walk or drive around the grounds. Elmwood gates close at 4:30 pm. While this is an outdoor event, we do ask that you maintain social distance and wear masks when talking with our hosts.
