Have you ever dreamed of owning a cat boarding business? Now’s your chance to learn all about cats and the operation of a small business. I need a 30–40-hour a week assistant to perform all aspects of running a “cattery.” No kidding, this is hard work, and you must be physically capable to clean cages and lift litter. In fact, 75% of the job is cleaning after kitties. You will help check in and check out cats, take reservations and answer all emails. You will have other chores such as feeding, kennel assignments, and posting the very popular kitty photo blog. You must have a college diploma, drive your own vehicle, live within Seattle city limits, have a professional appearance and good customer service skills, physically capable to run up and down stairs, and work independently with a take charge attitude. We are open 365 days a year including weekends and holidays. This position starts at 7:55am for four to eight hours per day, depending on cat occupancy. Previous professional experience with animals is a major plus to securing this position.
