This opportunity is for a hard working person looking for an opportunity in lawn care while learning the basics of residential construction with a specific interest in "fixer upper" projects. This person would be considered an Independent Contractor, compensated weekly for work/hours completed, mileage, performance bonuses, and receive a 1099 at year's end. This person must be able to provide their own smartphone and transportation. Job description - During the mowing season work directly with the Lead Technician of a lawn care company primarily operating mowing equipment, and performing general labor for routine lawn maintenance. If not mowing will be assisting licensed contractors with needs such as drywall, painting, floor coverings, clean up, and other miscellaneous needs on the job site. Attitude, character, and availability are more important than skill or experience. This is an enjoyable work environment where the majority of the work will be in and around residential homes and properties. Availability - Mon - Fri (Standard business hours). Can be flexible with other parts of your schedule with proper communication. Hours are guaranteed regardless of weather. Pay - $12 - $15 per hour based on experience, and other variables. This position is most likely suited for someone young, hard working, on time, eager to learn from trained professionals, and that is coach-able.
