AURORA, IL — Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin is set to host a brief ceremony Tuesday night to memorialize hundreds of city residents who died from COVID-19 over the past year. Irvin declared a state of emergency in Aurora on March 16, 2020, two days after the city reported its first confirmed case of the coronavirus.
