Elite Intro to AR The AR platform rifle is the most popular center fire rifle on the market today. It is based on the US military M-16 and M4 Carbine platform, but is semi-auto only. People who shoot AR rifles do it for a variety of reasons, fun target shooting, precision target shooting, competition, and hunting. It is a modular constructed rifle allowing owners to change components to fit their needs. One can even build a custom AR by buying all the components and assembling the rifle themselves. In this class you will learn: Safe handling of the AR rifle Demonstration of disassembly, field strip basics Lubrication of the rifle Proper sight alignment and trigger control then finish with live fire on the range Eye protection, ear protection Will need to purchase frangible .223 from the range.
