Search On For Suspect After North Iredell Burglary Attempt

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — The Iredell County Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's help identifying a suspect caught on camera during an attempted burglary of a Hiddenite home Tuesday morning. The male suspect, who drove a four-door Toyota sedan, attempted to enter the home located in the 400 block of Hill Farm Road in north Iredell County before dawn March 16. "The male pried open a door to a crawl space on the home then attempted to enter the residence through a door in the garage," ICSO said in a statement. "A resident of the home was on the phone with 911 and scared the suspect off."
