Quick Change Technician – Roush Honda Job Summary: The focus of a Quick Change Technician is producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. Precise, consistent productivity is essential. It requires patience and a willingness to handle and complete multiple tasks accurately. We provide job knowledge through a structured step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from management and peers. Qualifications: Strong organizational and time management skills Self-motivated personality Exhibit a “can-do” attitude Primary Responsibilities: Change engine oil and filters on all models of Honda and Acura Vehicles Test and verify systems and components are secure and working properly Maintain efficiency and accuracy diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles Repair or replace work parts as necessary Use power tools, machine tools, and everyday hand tools to perform various tasks Repair leaking tires Wash and vacuum vehicles Clean and maintain shop area Test drive the vehicle to make sure everything is satisfactory & safe Requirements: Knowledge of automobiles Basic computer skills Ability to identify the problem quickly Practical analytical and communications skills Desire to learn new technology and repair and service procedure and specifications Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment Physically able to perform assigned tasks including lifting 85 pounds (or more)and working on your feet for extended periods Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to accept night and Saturday hours Must have a valid drivers’ license with less than 4 points and no history of reckless driving Consent to a background check and drug screening Environmental Conditions: Expect consistent exposure to moving parts, chemicals, dust, dirt, and inclement weather conditions.
