Connect with other adoptive families in Milwaukee Adoptive & guardianship families -- come and explore the beautiful wooded setting of the Urban Ecology Center in Milwaukee! This is a wonderful opportunity for one adult and child pair to explore green space in the city; while also connecting with each other. Bring your outdoor critical thinking skills to survive what the wilderness can bring! Work together in teams to brainstorm scenarios and test your knowledge as you try to survive some of the many elements of nature. Wear outdoor clothing and shoes, as mud, water and weeds will be abundant this Spring! We can't wait for you to show off your best survival skills to the Urban Ecology Center staff!! This event also includes an Urban Ecology Center Family Membership Pass, good for one year. You must check in with WISAPSP staff to receive the pass. REMINDERS Please do NOT attend an event if you or anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath), or have been exposed to others who have experienced those symptoms within the last 14 days. Social distancing of at least 6 feet will be required. Please bring a mask for each person in your party to be used anytime social distancing of at least 6 feet cannot be maintained.
