Experienced guitarist seeking a skilled, active drummer with similar interests to jam and start a band with. I have pro gear, extensive live experience, touring experience, writing capabilities, original songs, and recording capabilities. My writing/playing is diverse and varies from heavy, melodic riff based progressive Post-Rock/Instrumental Rock/ Hard Rock/Metal, to reverb, delay, and modulation laden Shoegaze. Lovecraft If interested, please send your full name, location in ME, information about your experience playing drums, and links to your playing. *** PLEASE READ THIS AD CAREFULLY AND MAKE SURE IT APPLIES TO YOU BEFORE CONTACTING ME*** -I am not looking for beginner drummers or out of practice "looking to get back into it" drummers. -If you can't commit to weekly/bi-weekly practices and eventually playing shows monthly, then do not contact me. -If you are a drummer and live up North, do not contact me unless you are prepared to travel to Portland for rehearsal and have money to rent rehearsal space. -Do not answer my ad under false pretenses and try to finesse me into playing your original material or in your band. - I am looking for experienced drummers that have similar interests, are actively playing, have chops, and the ability to write well thought out drum beats to guitar riffs and songs, whether they are completed songs or new song ideas. -I am looking for a drummer with a professional drum kit, transportation, and either a place to jam (within the geographic region specified), or the money to pitch-in for rehearsal space. -Due to my work schedule I need to practice in the Portland or Brunswick area, so I am looking for drummers that have the money to pitch-in to rent rehearsal space by the hour or monthly in the city or that have a practice space within a 30 minute radius of Brunswick. - Please do not waste my time like many of the people that have answered my ad.
