CUMMING, GA — A new venue for concert-starved Cherokee and Forsyth counties music lovers kicks off its live concert series from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday at West Milford Farm.
"Fridays at the Farm" will host 12 open-air concerts through Sept.r 17, with socially-distanced lawn and pavilion seats for up to 160 guests per event at 7938 Ball Ground Road.
Singer song-writer Kurt Lee Wheeler opens the season with his raw portrayal of life in the American Southeast. Tickets for this concert range from $39 to $44, including a food voucher for Dominic's Food Trucks of Ball Ground, catering the event. Outside food is allowed, but guests will still receive a food voucher with a ticket purchase that includes two big NY-style slices of wood-oven pizza or other entree option.
"Our concerts will give the community an opportunity to safely experience live music, while supporting our local artists," said Chad Milford, co-owner of the farm. "To best enjoy the experience, guests should bring their own chair; VIP pavilion ticket holders can place a camp chair alongside their chair and table seating."
Attendees must be 21-years or older and may bring their own beer or wine, but a no-liquor rule will be enforced, according to Milford. A security officer will be present at all events.
