Press release from the Bishop State Community College: March 16, 2021 Bishop State Community College's virtual performing arts scholarship competition - WILDCAT LIVE - has been extended and is adding a new component - the Wildcat Golden Ticket! The Wildcat Golden Ticket allows anyone to recognize and recommend a talented individual that is a high school graduate, a GED grad interested in furthering their education, or a current Bishop State student. Anyone can send a Golden Ticket to someone with talent and potential by using the attached graphic and sending an email with the person's Name, Email, Contact Number to [email protected]. The referred applicant only has to complete the online scholarship application and sign up for their audition slot. During this competition, the Center for Performing Arts is looking for 30 students interested in theater, dance, vocal performance, and theater production to join the inaugural class of the performing arts program. 30 scholarships valued at up to $2,000 per year are available. Those invited to the final round will have their auditions posted to social media outlets for the final round of the competition which will allow the Bishop State Community at large an opportunity to vote and participate in this great occasion.
