Attend Sunday Mass at the Shrine While the Shrine is currently closed to the public, reservations for in-person worship at both the 11:00 a.m. Sunday Misa en español and the 2:00 p.m. Sunday Mass in English are now open during Lent. We have also added a special Mass for the Feast of Saint Joseph on March 19. You must register in order to attend. Confessions also continue to be available Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and on Sunday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please contact us at [email protected] or (202) 635-5401 with any questions. COVID-19 Restrictions Acknowledgement I and members of my group acknowledge that I/we am requesting to attend Mass at our own risk during this COVID pandemic. I/we also affirm that we will not visit the Shrine if we are sick, have a fever, or knowingly have the Corona Virus. I/we also understand and agree that facial coverings or masks are required to enter the Saint John Paul II National Shrine and must be worn at all times during your visit. The Shrine will provide hand sanitizer during your visit and will both frequently disinfect all touch surfaces and bathrooms regularly throughout the day. Shrine staff will also sanitize the pews between Masses and sanitize confessional areas between penitents. Please follow the instructions of staff during your visit to further prevent the spread of the corona virus. Thank you and we hope that you will enjoy your visit!
