Pro Guitarist/Bassist/Vocalist looking to join Psychedelic band

My name is Alan, I moved to LA from New Jersey over the Summer. Now that I'm all settled I'm looking to join a band so I can play some music and meet people. I'm really looking for something psychedelic, heavy(ish), experimental, yet groovy and catchy. (is that specific enough???) My (heavily abridged) list of influences includes - Swans, GOAT, Kadavar, Slift, Seven that Spells, Melvins, YOB, and Sleep. I'm a huge fan of music from around the world, particularly anything that comes out of India, Mali, The Congo, and Brazil. I have 10 years of professional experience and formal education in classical guitar, jazz guitar, and North Indian classical vocals. I've played in bands spanning many genres including space rock, metal/grindcore, avant garde, gypsy jazz, bluegrass, indie rock, east/west fusion, and more. My professional experience is 100% guitar/vocals, but I've been recently playing a lot of bass. I'd prefer to join a band as a guitarist but if there's an opening for a bassist in a band that I really dig I'm happy to join the rhythm section! My cross country move was almost completely funded by gear sales. I have a guitar and a bass but no amps.
