Concrete Laborer Altoona, IA Currently looking for Laborers to fill concrete laborer positions located in Des Moines, IA and the eastern suburbs. Interested candidates should have at least 1 year of recent experience in concrete finish, form making, pipe making, carpentry, construction, framing, or home remodeling. Responsibilities of the Concrete Laborer • Operate hand and powered equipment. • Assist in setting and assembling concrete forms. • Assist in pouring of vertical and flat concrete construction. • Assist in tying rebar. • Perform all other duties as needed. Requirements of the Concrete Laborer • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in concrete finish, form making, pipe making, carpentry, construction, framing, or home remodeling • Own reliable transportation to Des Moines and eastern suburbs • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds • Pass pre-employment E-Verify, drug screen, and background check • Ability to pass a tape measure test • Must have steel toe boots • Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing.
