Municipal Supply, Inc. (MSI) is seeking a full time Delivery Driver with no overnight travel. For 45+ years MSI has provided quality parts and services in the water and waste water industry, with warehouses in Des Moines, IA, Hastings, NE and Gretna, NE. Job Description: This Delivery Driver position is for our Des Moines warehouse and is responsible for the accurate and timely distribution of products to various customer locations. *Drive tractor and or truck, maneuvering into position to attach trailer and handle lines to secure. *Inspect vehicle for defects both before and after trip *Inspect trailer to ensure product is secure for undamaged transport *Drive tractor-trailer or truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations *Skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises *Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt *Unload trailer and or truck delivering product into customer premises *Perform any other duties as necessary Qualifications: *High School Diploma or GED *Be at least 21 years of age *Prefer a Class A Commercial Drivers License but not required *Not more than two moving violations in past 3 years *Must not have been convicted of a DWI/DUI within the past 5 years *Be able to read and comprehend sales orders, packing slips and bills of lading *Be able to perform mathematical calculations to verify quantities of product *Be able to use a 2-wheel dolly, and ramp
