Easter time - many bunny postings...
Please be sure to do your homework should you chose to have a pet bunny!
A bit of information:
Rabbits CHEW! It is in their nature to chew! They NEED to chew for healthy teeth! They need fresh hay, fresh water, fresh greens, and a small amount of treats such as pellets, apple, carrot.
HAY: Rabbits should have a daily diet of mostly hay, a smaller amount of fresh vegetables, and a limited number of pellets. Unlimited, high-quality grass hay, such as Timothy, orchard or brome, should make up the bulk of a rabbit's diet. Grass hay is high in fiber, which is critical to maintaining a rabbit's healthy digestive tract, is the most important part of a rabbit's daily intake.
They also need proper toys to chew (NOT painted/stained baseboards, electric cords, furniture, etc.)
They can spray urine when excited. Getting he/she fixed may stop the spraying, it did with my Bunbun.
They need daily loving!
They need exercise a few hours a day, to hop, run & binky 🙂!
Please don't keep them in a cage 24 hours a day!
Thanks for reading and caring!
