Entry Level eCommerce Shipping Associate NOTE: You must pass a background check and drug testing for this position. Responsibilities Include: Providing quality control, inventory management, and consistently ensuring all packages are shipped out in a timely manner. Managing all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading, scheduling express packages. etc. Working with the eCommerce department to ensure policies and procedures are effective and consistently followed. Managing the physical inventory of listed items and ensuring said items are accurately matched to pick slips when shipping. Some odd jobs and warehouse work (Moving boxes, cleaning, and straightening work area.) Job Description We are looking for an entry level eCommerce Shipping Associate to help with all of our daily shipping and distribution operations. You will be the one to ensure all complete orders are shipped and delivered in an accurate and timely manner on a daily basis. A successful shipping associate is analytical, well-organized and excels in communication. They must be comfortable with paperwork, information systems and have great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures. The shipping associate will be hands-on in the shipping process, and must be able to lift 50lbs. The goal is to ensure that the shipping processes are running smoothly and effectively, maximizing customer satisfaction. Responsibilities We are shipping approximately 250 unique packages every day. The eCommerce Shipping Associate will be expected to: Use software to track, check, and prioritize orders. Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notices, pick slips, bills of lading etc. Pick, pack and process all shipments. Put away items into inventory. Clean and organize the shipping and inventory areas. order supplies as needed. Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment. Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders. Work with the customer service department to promptly deal with any shipping mistakes or other customer service issues that arise. Helpful Skills: Solid knowledge of logistics procedures Good understanding of budgeting and reporting Excellent organizational and communication skills Attention to detail Problem-solving abilities Experience with selling on eBay, Amazon, and other ecommerce platforms. Knowledge of computer and information technology products a plus.
