We need Drivers for the following areas: Peabody, North Reading, Burlington, Bedford, Tewksbury, Saugus But most importantly, I am sure you have questions. Such as: Why consider a position as a Van Driver? Do I need a special license? What are the hours? How much does it pay? Are there any benefits offered? Is it safe? These are all great questions! Let us get these answered: Why consider a position as a Van Drive? One huge reason is you will make a difference in a child’s life. We specialize in transporting special needs students to and from educational settings. This is extremely rewarding and satisfying work knowing that you are helping fulfill the needs of a special need’s child. Another reason is if you like Driving. This position does not have you in an office or force you to be on your feet all day! And on top, you get to take the Van home with you! Do need a special license? Yes, you will need to obtain a 7D License which is a specific license that that allows you to transport Students. We will help you obtain the license, train you, and financially assist you with the costs associated with the license. To qualify for the license, you must meet the following criteria: Must be 21 years of age or older.Have 3 or more years of general driving experience.Possess an active Driver’s License with safe driving record What are the hours? The typical hours for our Van Drivers are split shift 545am – 10am and 1pm – 545pm. However, the times will vary based on route assignment. How much does it pay? You'll earn an hourly rate which varies between $15-$25/hour Are there any benefits offered? Yes, we offer Life Insurance, Dental and Vision Plan options, 40 hours of paid Sick Time, and 2 Paid Holidays (Thanksgiving Day and Day after Thanksgiving). Is it safe?
