REPORT TYPE CENTRE STREET Cambridge Police stopped and identified two male suspects after observing them acting suspiciously, walking and riding a bicycle, crossing the street several times, back and forth in a zigzag manner, while looking at locked bikes and residential homes in the area. 03/11/202103:47 INCIDENT 21001604 LARCENY FROM PERSON C266 S25 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Cambridge Police were dispatched for a disturbance at Carl Barron Plaza. The solar panel is worth $800 and was stolen sometime between 3/10/2021 and 3/11/2021. 03/11/202114:41 INCIDENT 21001616 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE C90 S24 OTIS STREET A resident of Cambridge states her vehicle was involved in a hit and run while it was parked on Sixth Street The suspect vehicle caused damage to the reporting persons vehicle driver side door, fender, and bumper. The hit and run occurred sometime between 3/8/2021 and 3/11/2021. 03/11/202116:34 INCIDENT 21001619 LARCENY OVER $1200 C266 S30 CAMBRIDGESIDE PLACE The manager of a retail store at Cambridgeside states two unknown males entered the store and stole 27 pieces of clothing. 03/11/202116:36 INCIDENT 21001617 B&E NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16 BRISTOL STREET A Cambridge couple reported their home being broken into and some items missing as a result of the break. 03/11/202117:17 INCIDENT 21001621 LARCENY UNDER $1200 C266 S30(1) PORTLAND STREET An employee of a pharmaceutical company on Portland Street reports that person(s) unknown broke the lock to his electric scooter and fled with it. 03/11/202117:41 INCIDENT 21001620 MISC. REPORT TYPE EDUCATION CIRCLE Cambridge Police responded to North Point to investigate a suspect possibly involved in a bike theft. 03/11/202118:18 INCIDENT 21001622 A&B C265 S13A MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Cambridge Police responded to the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a disturbance. 03/11/202118:42 ARREST 21001623 WARRANT ARREST REPORT GREEN STREET Cambridge Police arrested Alper Kucukural, 43, 460 Green Street, in Cambridge for a warrant issued out of Cambridge District Court for Assault. 03/11/202121:35 INCIDENT 21001625 LARCENY UNDER $1200 BY FALSE PRETENSE C266 S34 MAY STREET A resident of Cambridge states he met a woman on a dating app and made plans to meet with her. The reporting person states the woman asked him to send money to her so she can buy marijuana for them to share. This same woman then asked him to send more money so she could get an Uber ride to his house. The reporting person did send this woman the requested amount of money, but she never arrived at his residence. The reporting person sent a total amount of $147 to this woman. 03/11/202122:57 INCIDENT 21001626 ALCOHOL FROM OPEN CONTAINER IN MV, DRINK C90 S24I TECHNOLOGY SQUARE A Methuen resident was cited for open container. The violator was found to have an open bottle of beer with beer still inside in the cup holder of his vehicle. 03/11/202122:58 INCIDENT 21001627 A&B C265 S13A JFK STREET Cambridge Police responded to South Street and JFK Street for an assault. The suspects fled before officers arrived. 03/11/202123:27 ARREST 21001628 WARRANT ARREST REPORT CAMBRIDGE STREET Cambridge Police placed Kristian Valdes Gonzalez, 22, 30 Michigan Avenue, in Boston, under arrest for a warrant out of South Boston District Court after he was observed operating a motor vehicle on Cambridge Street and failed to stop for the red signal light at the intersection of Columbia Street and Cambridge Street.
