MBR Reload is a lumber yard facility in Kansas City, MO looking for a full time forklift driver. The job would be 40 hours a week hours from 0700-1530. Must have at least one year forklift experience. MBR Reload 6700 Wilson Ave Kansas City, MO 64125 816-241-1209 Pay is hourly After 90 days a benefit package will be offered with company paid health insurance and PTO Responsibilities include: - Operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks to load/unload trucks and railcars. - Assist loading and unloading truck loads. - Responsible for inspecting that all material/ equipment loaded is in good condition (with no damage). - Verify accuracy, condition, quality and quantity of such items and make sure that they are in conformance with material acquired. - Store and organize the transport of the equipment/material received to appropriate area as required - Report daily shipping and receiving activities as required. - Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized assigned work area. - Ensure safety practices are followed and maintained. - Regular attendance and maintaining a good attendance record is an essential function of the job. Physical Demands - Must be able to work outside. - Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Requirements - MUST have valid Driver's License - High School Diploma or GED. - Must have recent forklift experience. - Knowledge and use of hand and power tools. - Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. - Must be punctual, responsible, and reliable. - Must be able to pass an on-site forklift driving test. - Must be able to write & read English. - Ability to follow instructions and work independently. - Experience working in a fast paced environment. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Must be able to pass drug screen.
