Bassist new to area looking for anyone doing or interested in doing stuff in the vein of (to name a few): Fela, Tony Allen, Ebo Taylor, Antibalas, The Shaolin Afronauts, Ikebe Shakedown.... I have a day gig & fam. so not looking to take over the world by van or live in a rehearsal studio... but have the gear/chops/transport/passion for a successful working outfit. Obviously things aren’t ‘normal’ right now but maybe that would allow a band like this to come together.
