Job Description: Landscape Crew Member assists in the installation of landscape and irrigation projects. Performs the physical labor for implementing landscape designs of various sizes. Duties and Responsibilities: • Installs landscapes under the direction of the Landscape Foreman at client sites. Work includes: installing trees, shrubs, and perennials, drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, sod, hardscaping, landscape edging and fabric etc. • Operates tools and machinery and assists with their maintenance • Complies with all company safety rules, standards and regulations. • Performs duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Required: • Capability to perform physically strenuous and/or repetitive tasks using assorted hand tools and small machinery. • Willingness to work long hours in various inclement weather conditions. • Valid driver’s license. Ability to drive manual transmission • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks. • Willingness to take direction and cooperate with others. • Excellent physical condition: Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs, and be able to bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day. Preferred: • Previous landscaping or related experience. • Skid steer experience. Wood working of any kind!
