HERE’S WHO WE ARE Two guitarists, bass player, drummer, all of whom have lotsa band experience in the 90s and early/mid 00s, regrouping, recording, looking to play out once vaccines are something we all take for granted. We’re adults. We have kids barreling straight into adulthood. No one’s looking to get into a van and work the NYC, Philly, DC circuit. We just want to make the music we love, give it to the universe, and see what happens. HERE’S HOW WE SOUND Imagine Cheap Trick as interpreted by a bunch of inebriated art-school drop outs. Our singer/songwriter (and present scribe) is a huge fan of 90s lo-fi as well as 70s NYC lower east side No Wave and Post Punk. Lead guitarist worships David Gilmore and Frank Zappa. Bass player a huge fan of jam rock (also a great trumpet player!). Drummer will never lose his Neil Peart crush. We love melodic jangle pop. We love weird effects. We love weird time signatures (when, like habaneros, used sparingly). Historically, the four of us have many combined years of playing, recording, and even experiencing a few brief moments of college-radio glory, back when people cared about things like college radio. HERE’S YOU You’re a keyboard player! I say “keyboard player+” because if you sing, play any other instruments (like the theramin), all the better. We want you to help shape the sound, add energy, inspiration. Our songs sound big. We want you to make them bigger. IF INTERESTED Let me know!
