Hi! I'm J.D. I'm looking to start a hard rock/heavy metal band, but first I want to create some solid material. I have lyrics, I'm just looking for an instrumentalist who can contribute melody and music. I don't have a particular sound I'm going for, but the bands I admire include: Nightwish, Halestorm, Evanescence, Paramore, Flyleaf, Birthday Massacre, Marmozets...just to get an idea of whether this project is for you. About me: I've been singing on stage since kindergarten. I started out as a poet, but switched to lyrics once I decided I wanted to be in a band. I don't have any formal music training. I don't know how to play any instruments, but I'm trying to learn piano. I've been in original bands and I'm currently in a cover band. This will be my first time fronting a band solo.
