**Signing Bonus Available** VanDerKolk Painting employs full-time career painters, not sub-contractors. Our employees are the best in the business, because we provide on-going professional and personal training. VanDerKolk is currently looking for painters to join our team and assist the crew leaders in getting every job done smoothly. You don't have to know it all, you just have to be willing to show up every day ready to work and learn. We provide training in basic painting skills, customer relations, and an overall understanding of the painting trade. Duties: • Learn proper sequence of steps for interior/exterior painting jobs • Learn how to spray interior/exterior • Learn about paint products and their proper usage • Develop shop-work skills • Carry out tasks within an expected time frame • Follow Employee Handbook policies • Become increasingly independent with the development of skills Benefits: • $13-22/hr, paid weekly • All equipment is provided! • Direct Primary Care Health Insurance • Overtime pay (required seasonally and as needed) • Personal and professional training • Advancement opportunities based on performance and seniority • Being part of a high growth company run by energetic leadership Qualifications: • Must have the ability to move and use ladders and power equipment • Work an eight hour shift, five days per week, with a half hour lunch • Cell Phone • Driver’s license and transportation to each job site
