Description • Inspection of castings for retreading • Operate machine that checks casings for separations • Removal of old tread and preparation for new tread • Cleaning up imperfection of buffed casings • Applying thin layer of curing rubber to buffed casings • Applying new tread to extruded casings • Mounting tire for cure to adhere new tread by placing in a chamber • Inspect final product for distribution • Maintaining knowledge of Bandag retreading process • Participating in monthly safety meetings to support Company ISO 9002 certification effort RequirementsMinimum Qualifications: • Ability to apply basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills • Ability to receive work instructions and communicate with supervisor and co-workers • Ability to comply with all company employment and safety policies Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift/maneuver 75 lbs on a regular basis • Ability to operate foot pedal to activate machinery • Ability to squat, bend, twist, push, pull and reach shoulder level on a regular basis • Manual dexterity needed to use hand tools PI132037314
