Light maintenance, problem solving, prioritizing and resolving issues in vacation homes. Primary Responsibilities: • Basic, light maintenance items. Changing light bulbs and batteries, lighting pilot lights, refilling and replacing propane, re-hanging towel bars, troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues such as: TV, internet and basic appliance issues, thermostat settings. • Evaluating situations, diagnosing problems and knowing when specialist/contractor assistance should be requested. • Customer service - assisting guests onsite with maintenance items or concerns in a calm and confident manner • Annual projects such as preparing the homes for winter and spring: delivering ice melt, changing furnace filters, putting away and pulling out patio furniture, etc • Running errands, taking supplies to guests, assisting housekeeping inspectors if needed (requires an eye for detail), listening to and understanding what guests want and finding solutions to make the guest experience fabulous. NOTE: This position does not require mechanical, electrical, plumbing or appliance repair experience.
