If you live in the Bay Area especially the East Bay Area and have had your property lines changed from what you remembered when you bought it? Most likely you have been taken. I have been researching east bay properties for 9 years. What I found out is astounding. Most of these properties have been or are near a medium to high traffic aka transportation area. Whether your property backs up to or is near a freeway or the front is on a thoroughfare you most likely have found your property lines much smaller than it should be. There is a reason for this and it is illegal activity by some agencies responsible for protecting its citizens but they are stealing property from tens ot hundreds, or more property owners. If BART or CalTrans, or any city especially Fremont has been or is going to be in your area for a transportation project and you believe your property is larger than they say it is, please contact me and I will take a look at your property and tell you if they are pulling a fast one! I wont charge you to simply look at your property in the places I know where to look. However if I have to go deeper I would want to talk to you about paying for my time.
