Shared clay studio space available in SE Austin off William Cannon. We're looking for clay artists to share a garage studio space at our home. There's around 300 square feet of available space that we would like to split between 2-3 people. Cost is $200 per month, but may be adjusted dependent on artist's needs. Studio rent will include access to electric kilns with a reasonable amount of firing included. A variety of cone 6 dipping glazes are also available for use. Other amenities include access to a Brent 14" slab roller and occasional access to a Shimpo Whisper wheel. There is wifi and access to a bathroom inside the house. We are looking for artists that are experienced enough to work in clay on their own. Knowledge of how to load and fire an electric kiln is helpful, but we can train you if needed. The home and studio belong to two ceramic artists, one working out of the shared garage studio and one working out of a separate building in the backyard.
