LA GRANGE, IL — The La Grange Police Department released its latest blotter. Here is information from the reports: Clarence Smalls, 44, of La Grange, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. March 5 in the 800 block of South La Grange Road on charges of aggravated battery, domestic battery (bodily harm) and criminal damage to property. According to a police report, Smalls was arrested after a domestic disturbance involving a live-in friend. Someone's gym shoes were stolen about 3:30 p.m. March 6 at Gordon Park at Ogden and Locust avenues. The theft occurred while the person went into a washroom. Car windows were broken about 11 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue. Residents heard the glass breaking. A Nissan's windshield was damaged, while a BMW had damage to both the front and rear windows. While officers responded to that call, they received a report of damage to two windows of a nearby apartment complex in the 200 block of East Plainfield Road that happened about the same time.
