MINNESOTA — The Minnesota Department of Health this week announced it has rolled out a new toolkit for companies looking to help their employees learn about coronavirus vaccination opportunities and even host on-site vaccination clinics. The Employer Toolkit portal recommends that employers encourage workers to sign up for the state's vaccine corrector, which can help Minnesotans find out when, where and how to get a vaccine. Vaccinations are also available through several local pharmacies, health departments and health care providers. Residents can find vaccine providers near them using the state's vaccine locator map. The toolkit also allows qualifying companies to sign up to host an on-site vaccination clinic. Employers can complete the employer on-site vaccination interest form to determine if they qualify. Once a company completes the form, the Minnesota Department of Health will call or email the company's vaccine contact to discuss which options exist. Minnesota's current vaccine guidance prioritizes workers in certain industries. When completing the on-site vaccination interest form, a company must choose from one of the following: agriculture, food processing facilities, food production, food retail (grocery), manufacturing and other. Vaccines are also available to residents who have certain high-risk conditions and who fall under certain age groups. Here's who currently qualifies.
