Platinum Pools is Now Hiring a qualified candidate for our construction team. We are installing Fiberglass in ground pools in the central Illinois. We dig, set, and plumb each one. The right person would have some experience in any of the following areas, Excavation, Plumbing, Concrete, Hardscape Landscaping, Operating Equipment, CDL, Driving Truck and Trailer, and Using a Laser. Ability to use basic math and read a tape measure. Will need a valid drivers license and we do perform background checks. The job will require shoveling of dirt and rock, we dig the hole with a machine and use a machine as much as we can but hand shoveling happens on every pool. Walking with a loaded wheelbarrow. Preparing the work site with the correct tools and materials, most materials are delivered to the site, but we occasionally need to grab something. Greasing the equipment and digging the dirt and mud out of it as needed. Working around Fiberglass, meaning getting some of it on you. Assembling PVC Plumbing around the pool. Driving a truck and trailer with a Bobcat on the trailer. Holding a grade stick and communicating to the Operator what the grade stick says. Working in the mud, we don’t call it day because its muddy in all cases, our customers are expecting their pool to get completed in a timely manner, we have to do our best to not let mother nature set us back to much. We are currently looking to expand our footprint here in Central Illinois to this position could lead to advancement for the right person. Safety is a big part of how we operate day to day so anyone coming aboard needs to understand that any employee that demonstrates a lack of safety will most likely not last to long. Pay will start at 14.00$ per hour and go up for someone with experience.
