Salary/Hours: Pay rate negotiable, 30 – 40 hours a week Direct Reports: None but oversees teen employees, interns and volunteers during the drop-in Reports to: CEO Job Description: The Alive Drop-in Supervisor is responsible for leading teen drop-in hours at our Naperville location. This includes planning, marketing and executing daily / weekly activities for teens, building relationships with local schools and partners, and ensuring that rules are followed. Most importantly, the role requires development of critical, long-lasting relationships with local teens who participate in Alive Center activities, serving as a role model and mentor and keeping the teens safe. Hours of Drop-in differ. Naperville hours are school year 3-7pm and summer hours 1-6pm. Requirements: Masters of Social Work (License preferred but, not required) or a teaching certificateGreat with teensStrong communication skillsStrong computer skillsStrong interpersonal skillsStrong planning / event skillsDetailed Responsibilities: Supervise Naperville teen drop-in hours 4-5 days per week as assigned (school year is M-F 3-7pm and Summer is M-F 1 – 6pm)Supervise teen employees, interns and volunteers during each drop-in shiftTrain volunteersCreate weekly/monthly drop-in activity plans by day. Planned activities should be fun and engaging. Properly market and promote leveraging the Alive marketing leadPlan 1 -3 activities for each day of drop-in leveraging teen leads, interns and partnersCreate a monthly funnel event to bring in new teens. Market and promote funnel eventsEnsure that teens clean-up after themselves and after activities they have participated inMaintain appropriate discipline and file appropriate paperworkEnsure that all rules are met and followed with kindness and compassionEnsuring that ALL teens get signed in and out appropriatelyProvide mindful marketing social media posts of drop-in fun at least twice a week. Be active on social media, connecting with partners, schools and communityProvide a nurturing / safe environment for all teensOwn and drive strong relationships with local schools.
