The Marietta Police Department is dedicated to protecting its citizens in every way possible. While our focus is on finding ways to fight and prevent crime, we are also dedicated to find ways to educate and protect our youth. To that end, MPD is involved in protecting children through a program called Radkids. Radkids is a personal empowerment safety education which includes a 10 hour curriculum for children ages 5 to 7. Topics covered include: bully prevention, internet, home, school, vehicle, and outdoor safety, as well as predator tricks and physical resistance strategies against child abduction. MPD currently has 5 trained Radkids instructors dedicated to helping teach your kids to be safe.
MPD has a class scheduled for June. Openings are still available for this class so reserve your spot now. Please sign up your own kids or refer us to parents with kid’s ages 5 to 7 The dates for the June class is:
