Titus Mower is looking for a driver and general laborer who takes pride in their work and is willing to perform a wide range of various duties. The primary role of this position is delivery driver, operating a 16-foot box truck for the pick-up and delivery of lawn equipment around the Rochester area, including lawn mowers, snow blowers and riding tractors.
The secondary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• General care of the truck, including oil changes and keeping the truck clean
• Assembling and cleaning new equipment for sale
• Retrieving and offloading equipment for repair
• Stocking shelves, maintaining inventory
• Basic cleaning duties, sweeping, taking out trash, breaking down boxes, etc.
• Mowing, trimming, and maintaining grounds
Requirements:
• High school diploma
• New York State driver’s license
• Basic computer skills
• Good communications skills
• The ability to move and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis is required
This is an entry-level minimum-wage position to start, but on-the-job training is available for those who show an interest in career advancement and competency in more advanced technical work.
