SOLANO COUNTY, CA — An overnight closure of East Lincoln Road near Interstate Highway 80 in Vallejo is scheduled for one night this week as crews continue working on the Springs Road Overcrossing, Caltrans said. The Lincoln Road closure begins at 11 p.m. Tuesday and ends at 5 a.m. Wednesday. A local detour will be in place during the closure. Crews need to close Lincoln Road to lower the bridge spans on Springs Road Overcrossing, according to Caltrans District 4 Spokesperson Pedro Quintana. THIS WEEK: Caltrans To Close I-80 Overnight For 2 Consecutive NightsCaltrans expects the Springs Road Overcrossing to remain closed through mid-April, Quintana said. Construction on the Springs Road Overcrossing is part of Caltrans' I-80 Six Bridges Project which entails raising the vertical clearance of six freeway overcrossings in the city of Vallejo.
