I didn’t say my band made 2000-3000 grand a night, I said I knows bands that do, and it all comes down to playing the casinos and filling those venues. I can tell you this much you would be envious of the crowds that show up. My advice go to the downs on a Friday night when they open up, or Sandia Casino and see what the crowds those bands are bringing in, not all of them make the 2000 a night but a lot do and it all has to do with draw. If you can’t draw then don’t expect to get paid. It really is that simple. Maybe instead of focusing on trying to make a brewery pay you you should focus on marketing yourself your band and move to bigger and better gigs and get away from the breweries. Move to the casino scene and play music people want to dance to, play for the crowds not your self. To get into the casino scene the people hiring for those gigs will tell you you have the be bad ass and look professional. Or in other words learn your market !
