TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Amphitheater announced its return to live music Monday, as country music star Jon Pardi was revealed as the first concert of 2021 on June 17, which will also mark the first concert after the coronavirus pandemic halted events through the 2020 concert and holiday seasons. The reduced capacity event will still maintain social distancing guidelines and the venue says tickets will be sold in various size "pods," which must be purchased together. Masks will also be required for entry into the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. Click here to subscribe to our free daily newsletter and breaking news alerts. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday at 8 a.m. Click here for additional ticket information. Pardi has released three studio albums and has three singles that made it to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts. Country singer-songwriter Larry Fleet will open the 7:30 p.m. show. Have a news tip or suggestion on how I can improve Tuscaloosa Patch?
