The goal of our Hiring Night is to get to know you a little bit better, allow you to design an arrangement and showcase your talent if you are interested in joining our creative team, share with us your experience or passion for the event world and for you to meet our management staff to see if you are the right fit for our team. Job Description: Runway Botanical is a team that truly loves designing and branding each event to the clients’ specific taste and needs. We work with our clients to learn their style and vision to best create the floral of their dreams. Responsibilities vary by event but include preparing and designing flowers for the client and delivery and setting up florals on event day. Scheduling is determined based on season and business demands. Must have flexible availability on weekdays and weekends. Responsibilities: Design bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces Floral Design experience is a plusFloral knowledge Artistic and creative Having the ability to think outside the boxCreate and execute design items neededSetting up and striking décor or rentalsQuick problem solvingAny other tasks assigned by Head Floral Fairy and Runway Leadership TeamRequirements: Excellent understanding of floral, varieties and foliage Detail oriented and proactive Available for atleast 2 weekends a monthAvailable atleast two week days a week (preferably Wednesday - Friday) Team Player Experience with design interpretation Advanced communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to think creatively and innovativelyFamiliarity with the latest trends in weddingsHard workerEvent design experience is a plusCreative with a strong attention to detailsPositive, energetic and welcoming personalityProfessional, both in appearance and demeanorPunctual and great at multitaskingA team player and respond to direct, immediate requestsCommitted to being a perfectionist and striving for excellenceAble to be on their feet for long hoursAble to lift up-to 50 poundsReliable Self-TransportationPlease note that we have part time and on call positions available.
