Seeking Drummer/Percussionist for Alternative Rock Trio

44 year old guitarist/singer/songwriter & 43 year old bassist seeking a higher intermediate-advanced level Rock/ Alternative/Mix drummer (easy on the snare & cymbals..looking more for a John Densmore vs John Bonham / Lars) and/or hand percussionist with a variety of hand drum percussion instruments for a new alternative / psychedelic / rock / world / new age / trip hop mix type project (MODERATE volume / not high). I have mild tinnitus from my last band so I need a drummer who can still rip it up but at a moderate volume. Looking to do around 70% covers / 30% originals. Preferably someone who’s eclectic and into/or interested in Eastern thought / Higher Consciousness and in the 30-50ish age range. Not interested in anyone who drinks excessively or into ANY drugs (Sorry, but NOT INTERESTED in 420 folk at all! ~respectfully). Just looking for folks with good vibes & a similar lifestyle. Looking to practice typically 1x a week on the weekend for about 2 hours (will cost you about $20 to share the rental studio per week that's equipped with gear incl. a kit) and looking to gig out 1x about every month or every other month or so at select cherry picked gigs as we agree & feel comfortable. Sort of going for a contemporary style version of The Doors mixed with new modern touches (such as Radiohead, Thievery Corporation, Tommy Guerrero, Arctic Monkeys, White Stripes, etc.).
