Woodinville Lavender is a lavender farm and private event venue. We are looking for a person that can work full time during the summer wedding season (June thru August) and part time the remainder of the year. The primary responsibility is to help with the venue rental setup and takedown on weekends. Additional responsibilities will include all the tasks required to keep the property and grounds in immaculate condition. The ideal candidate skills and abilities • Comfortable being on their feet and able to be active most of the day is essential • Ability to work outside in any weather • Physically fit and able to do heavy work. Ability to lift 100 pounds of weight frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. • Skilled with common yard maintenance tools: weeding, rakes, shovels, riding and push mover, edger, line trimmer • Able to work for extended period on hands and knees weeding, edging and working with and around plants • Able to take directions and then self-manage and work independently • Carry and setup tables and chairs for ceremony and dinner • Clean patio, chairs, tables, restroom and indoor space • Additional home maintenance and repair skills a positive “jack of all trades” Seasonal Position: Part time to Full time: During the peak summer wedding season (June thru August) the work schedule will revolve around weekend weddings. During the off-season (September thru May) there is a more flexible schedule. During the off-season we are happy to work with you on the amount of hours and schedule. There will be very limited to no work December thru February. June thru August - Typically Thursday thru Monday - 40 hours per week September thru May - On average one day per week Pay - $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience Please send resume, current availability, and references.
