The rusty cichlids in our aquarium had babies and now there are too many for us to keep. We are looking to rehome ~10-15 juvenile rusty cichlids ranging from 0.5-1.5 inches for a small rehoming fee of $3/fish. Rusty Cichlids can be kept with other Lake Malawi cichlids and Plecos, but are not recommended for community tanks, planted tanks, or soft water tanks. These are rusty brown in coloration with a lot of nice stripes. The adults are similarly colored with subtle purple hue and grow to be ~3.5 inches. These fish are not shy and are very playful. These are very healthy fish that have never had any signs of disease. We do 30% water changes weekly and supplement the water with Seachem Cichlid salt and Malawi Lake Buffer. They mostly eat Chlorella flakes. We are available on weekends and weekdays after 5 for the rehoming.
